Whilst almost any genuine pilgrim/wisdom-seeker may take part in our Ayahuasca retreat (please check health compatibility issues before joining in), we conversely recommend the long shamanic plant diet – which does include 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies per week, but with a different schedule – more to those who have matured a very strong bound with shamanism, have already been successfully exposed to the Ayahuasca experience before, and who have, ideally, already spent some time in the jungle. For those guests who are not familiar with Spanish, we provide a FREE onsite interpreting service Spanish-English, already included in the retreat fees, to help you out during your staying (be it Ayahuasca journey, or shamanic plant diet apprenticeship).

If you cannot commit to the traditional lengthy apprenticeship (which goes from a minimum of 3 months onwards), you may enrol in the shorter shamanic plant diet tester, or “pre-dieta” (from 3 to 4 weeks, shorter periods may be agreed on). Or else more, you may even choose to go for a shamanic diet with Master trees (from 5 weeks onwards). During the pre-diet you will drink the plant teachers in form of tea/cold water infusion, without following the stricter diet regimen of the diet with Master trees, or the 13 weeks long shamanic apprenticeship via the plant diet, where – for instance – all types of fruit and many vegetables are banned. This could be the most suitable option for those who are not sure they may commit to a full-scale training, and want to approach things more gradually and with more flexibility of choices.
