Our interpreters for the retreats are jungle guides Alfredo Chavez (speaks Spanish, English, French and a little bit of German) & Clever Hoyos (speaks Spanish & English).
Both are highly experienced in dealing with Western pilgrims and offer their services with great integrity and utmost dedication. Deeply acquainted with our shamanic work and Ayahuasca, they also very knowledgeable about local Amazonian plants and plant teachers. The interpreter will be with you in Ashi Meraya on a live-in basis, on 24 hrs call, and up to 3 months/91 days continuously.
You may book our interpreters for any length of time, from an absolute minimum of 7 to an average maximum of 91 days. Longer periods may also be arranged.

The interpreting service costs £ 25 GBP p.p. per day for individual participants, or increasingly less, depending on the number of participants in your group:

Groups up to 11 participants may share the same interpreter. However, groups sized over 11 participants may be required to reserve a second interpreter. Reduced interpreter fees are available ONLY to participants who are members of the same party/group, doing the retreat together, arriving and leaving at the same time, on the same day. The above rates do not apply to participants who are not members of the same party, and/or arrive or leave at different times.
It’s not possible to book the interpreter on a part-time basis, or for less than 7 days. Equally, it is not possible to have a private translator assigned to every retreat participant. All retreat participants must be willing to share their interpreter with other guests who may have booked for this service.
